A Sergeant in the Stormtrooper Corps. At the Academy on Carida he was a fairly disciplined soldier, but also intelligent and well liked. He made a few higher level connections prior to graduation which boosted his more or less solid record. He managed to enter the Corps as a Lance Corporal and it did not take long for him to make Sergeant. He is a member of the 131st Legion. He was an assistant squad leader on Mon Calamari, as part of the occupation force. The world recently erupted in rebellion, and the attacks were so sudden and fierce that Imperial forces gave up the sector. Armstrong’s squad was ambushed and nearly wiped out. Armstrong took command when the squad leader fell, and did his best to get everyone out when the retreat was ordered. At the end of the day however, Daven was the only one to recover from wounds received. It was noted however by several other units, that Armstrong took the remainder of his squad to fight a rear guard action, and allowed for the safe retreat of many units, and he only left the battlefield when a medic dragged him away. The 131st was reassigned to the destroyer Devastator, and Armstrong awaits replacements in order to return his squad to battle ready status.
